SOS Romania MEP Diana Șoșoacă tried on Wednesday to enter the Parliament plenary session, where the voting procedure for the Mureșan government had begun, but security did not let her in, and she booed.
“Arrest people so that you can be voted in! Shame on you! Shame!”, Diana Șoșoacă chanted.
The president of S.O.S. Romania urged the party’s parliamentarians to leave the chamber when the vote on the investiture of the new Government takes place.
The joint session of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, during which the vote on the Mureșan government is taking place, has begun, but the designated prime minister is expected not to secure enough votes to be invested.
