Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, stated that his party will analyze three options during a meeting scheduled for tomorrow: remaining in the current form of the coalition, reshaping the relationships within it, or exiting the government. Grindeanu emphasized that, following internal consultations, he found that the majority of his colleagues believe that things are not going in the right direction, asserting that 80% of Romanians share this opinion.
He criticized the recently adopted economic measures and highlighted the need for real reforms, not just superficial ones. Grindeanu attacked Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, accusing him of irresponsibility and poor management of the economy, and emphasized the importance of political stability for the prosperity of Romania.
He also appreciated the performance of President Nicușor Dan, mentioning that he has acted within constitutional limits, unlike the Prime Minister. Grindeanu concluded that PSD wants to contribute to improving the economic and social situation of the country.
