The leader of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, declared on Monday that "a solution has not been found" after the new negotiations at the Cotroceni Palace with President Nicușor Dan, emphasizing that to unblock the situation, interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan should resign. At the same time, Grindeanu said that "the scenario of early elections is on the table" and cannot be ruled out.
According to the social democrat, some right-wing leaders have "an anti-PSD program, which delivers nothing but hatred, only keeping Ilie Bolojan in his seat."
PSD is in opposition and will not support the laws that the government sends to Parliament, Grindeanu further stated.
"We have announced that we will not vote for a salary law that is still not transparent today," Grindeanu added.
At the same time, he also said that during Monday's negotiations, "no name" for Prime Minister was discussed, not even Alexandru Nazare.
