The Rector of SNSPA, Remus Pricopie, has highlighted the constitutional inconsistency given by the participation of Dominic Fritz, leader of USR, in the decisions of the governing coalition, although he cannot hold national public office due to lack of Romanian citizenship. He described the situation as a political paradox that undermines the coherence of Romanian democracy, generating legal ambiguities, including in access to classified information. Pricopie warns that these ambiguities can fuel sovereignist discourse and undermine public trust in state institutions, emphasizing that the problem is not Fritz's person, but the regulatory framework that allows such situations.
