Senators Dorin-Silviu Petrea and Ștefan Borbun have resigned from the PACE-Întâi România parliamentary group and have joined PNL.

Senators Dorin-Silviu Petrea and Ștefan Borșun announced on Monday, in the plenary session of the Senate, their resignation from the PACE-România parliamentary group and their transition to the National Liberal Party (PNL).

Dorin-Silviu Petrea said that "starting today I will affiliate with the parliamentary group of the National Liberal Party. In this way, I want to thank my colleagues from the 'Pace-România' group for all the work we have done together and, also, I want to thank my colleagues from the parliamentary group of the National Liberal Party for accepting us. God help!".

Ștefan Borșun also announced his resignation from the "Pace-România" parliamentary group and is joining PNL: "At the same time, I thank the team I was part of and those who welcomed me into their team".

Ștefan Borșun was elected senator on the POT lists, while Dorin-Silviu Petrea on the SOS România lists.
