Romania has introduced WorkinRomania.gov.ro, a unique digital system designed for managing the employment of foreign workers, an essential component of the economy and administration. The platform allows employers, placement agencies, and state institutions to electronically manage the hiring procedures for citizens from third countries.

Applications and documents can be submitted online, and users can track the status of their requests in real-time, receiving notifications and administrative documents directly in their account. Developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the platform facilitates the connection of the involved institutions, ensuring quick verifications and a secure exchange of data. In future stages, WorkinRomania.gov.ro will also include procedures for long-stay visas.

This project supports the economy, provides clearer procedures for employers, and strengthens the state's capacity to manage labor migration in a legal and transparent manner. The digitization of administration aims for faster and more efficient services for citizens and companies.
