The discussions focused on the Vertical Corridor, a project aimed at supplying gas to Central and Eastern Europe, which could help decouple from Russian gas.

Predoiu highlighted the importance of identifying areas of common interest, such as energy and rare minerals, to attract American investments in Romania. He believes that these initiatives will strengthen the Romanian-American relationship and contribute to a better positioning of Bucharest in global competition, especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
