Robert Negoiță, the mayor of Sector 3, says in a dialogue with HotNews that he supports the reforms of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, despite the withdrawal of support from PSD, because "there are not people available at every corner of the street to solve the serious problems of this country." At the same time, the mayor says that PSD should go into opposition and reform itself.

Negoiță, a PSD member since 2004, stated that it is essential to support those who want to implement reforms, even if they may generate temporary suffering.

He also emphasized that he does not understand the reasons behind PSD's decision to withdraw support for Bolojan, mentioning his achievements, such as administrative reform and special pensions.

"But it is not support for Mr. Bolojan, it is support for reforms. I am less interested in who does them. But I believe that those who want to do them must be supported, as there are not people available at every corner of the street to solve the serious problems of this country," Negoiță explained the message of support for Bolojan launched on Tuesday evening.

Negoiță proposed that PSD should go into opposition to reform itself, stating that a party cannot change from within while in government.

He emphasized the need for a profound reform of the party, including its structure and ideology, to get closer to citizens.

"In democracy, we must also get closer to the electorate, we must continue the party reform. And this cannot happen while in government ever. No party has ever succeeded in reforming while in government," emphasized the mayor of Sector 3.

In conclusion, Negoiță believes that PSD should consider supporting a minority government led by Bolojan, with a clear reform program.
