Ilie Bolojan stated that Romania is facing an annual deficit of approximately 30 billion euros, and the interest on debts will reach 11 billion euros, equivalent to the costs for the Moldova Highway. He emphasized the need to increase revenues and reduce expenses, especially in local public administration, to avoid the inability to pay pensions and salaries. Bolojan warned that without corrective measures, the financial future of the country is at risk.
