Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had a meeting with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, during an official visit to Bucharest. The discussions focused on combating illegal migration, strengthening cooperation with European agencies such as Frontex and Europol, and using modern technologies for border protection.
Bolojan emphasized the importance of the internal security of the European Union, related to the stability of the Black Sea region, and presented Romania's priorities, including funding for internal security and cooperation with third countries. Regional projects for the protection of critical infrastructure and combating crime were also discussed. The meeting was attended by other Romanian officials, highlighting the close collaboration with the European Commission.
