Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that imposing restrictions on young people's access to social networks is a difficult mission, considering their ability to navigate digital platforms. Bolojan emphasized that, instead of restrictions, it is more effective to promote awareness of the negative effects of misinformation and manipulation.

He mentioned that discussions about limiting young people's access to social media are also taking place at the parliamentary level, but he stressed that solutions should focus on educating and dialoguing with young people, not on monitoring them. The Prime Minister suggested better collaboration between parents and young people to help them understand the risks associated with excessive use of social networks.
