The draft reform of the pension system, which will be put to public debate, foresees raising the retirement age to 65 and improving the clarity of the pension legislation. Bolojan emphasized the need for measures to limit early retirements in view of economic sustainability. The Prime Minister also noted that the changes will be non-retroactive, in accordance with the Constitution, and that it is imperative to reduce the number of court cases that affect the state budget.
