PNL requests the CNCD to sanction Adrian Câciu for his statement at the Budget-Finance Committee

The National Liberal Party (PNL) announced that it will notify the National Council for Combating Discrimination (CNCD) after the aggressive behavior exhibited by PSD deputy Adrian Câciu during a meeting of the Budget-Finance Committee. The incident occurred today when Câciu had a nervous reaction towards PNL senator Gabriela Horga, shouting and hitting the table with his fist. PNL firmly condemned his attitude, describing it as misogynistic and xenophobic, also recalling another recent incident in which Câciu made xenophobic outbursts towards a parliamentary colleague. The Liberals are calling on PSD to distance itself from Câciu's behavior and are requesting the leadership of the Chamber of Deputies to impose sanctions according to the regulations. Despite the tensions, the budget of the Ministry of Transport was adopted in plenary.
