On Monday, PNL leaders voted that liberal parliamentarians will not support the government led by Adrian Veștea. PNL deputy Ionel Bogdan has just officially confirmed the voting result.

"The PNL BPN voted against supporting the Veștea government with 41 votes FOR, 13 AGAINST, and two abstentions. Until tomorrow, Mr. Veștea has the deadline to submit his mandate," wrote Bogdan in a message posted on his Facebook page a few minutes ago.

As part of the same internal decision, PNL is asking Adrian Veștea to submit his mandate as designated prime minister by tomorrow. However, before leaving the party meeting, Veștea stated that he intends to continue with the formation of the government, regardless of the vote expressed by his colleagues.

"Regardless of what you decide, regardless of the vote, I will move forward," he stated, emphasizing his determination to advance in the process of forming the new government. This situation generates uncertainties in Romanian politics and raises questions about the future of the government.
