The leader of the PNL deputies, Gabriel Andronache, declared on Monday that the PSD's promise to support the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) will be put to a vote, emphasizing that the salary law is a key reform assumed by Romania through this plan.
Andronache called for responsibility from all political parties, mentioning that the PSD cannot postpone again a reform it has managed for years but has avoided finalizing for electoral reasons. He stressed the need for a parliamentary majority to advance the outstanding milestones from the PNRR, warning that billions of euros are at stake.
"Political parties must demonstrate responsibility regarding the outstanding milestones from the PNRR. A parliamentary majority is needed on this issue, and the PSD will not be able to avoid a moment of truth here.
The PSD's promise to support the PNRR will be tested in a vote. The Romanian government will come up with the necessary projects for the extraordinary session, and Parliament will have to adopt them. Billions of euros from the PNRR are at stake.
One of the key reforms assumed by Romania through the PNRR is the salary law. It is time for all parties to take on this responsibility. The PSD cannot postpone again a reform it has had under its responsibility for years, through the Ministry of Labor, and which it has avoided finalizing for electoral considerations," Gabriel Andronache conveys on Facebook.
