The leadership of PNL will meet on Thursday at 10:00 AM to discuss and decide whether the party will support the vote of confidence for the government proposed by the designated prime minister Eugen Tomac. Invited to the meeting are deputies, liberal senators, mayors of county seat municipalities, and presidents of county councils. The decision is crucial, considering that PNL leaders have expressed concerns regarding the proposed government formula.

Ilie Bolojan, the leader of PNL, stated that a government without clear political support is not a viable solution for Romania. Eugen Tomac, on the other hand, expressed hope for a favorable vote from the liberals. Internal criticisms have increased, with some liberal leaders suggesting that PSD should take on the governance.
