Ciprian Ciucu mocks Sorin Grindeanu's return to the leadership of the Government: "He was once chased by the population and ousted by the PSD"

Ciprian Ciucu, first vice-president of PNL, criticized the idea that Sorin Grindeanu should return to the head of the Government, recalling his previous problems. Although PSD wishes to return to power, the liberals are skeptical. Ciucu stated that he would be interested to see how Grindeanu would manage, considering he was previously dismissed due to protests. However, he mentioned that PNL would not block the formation of a new government if President Nicușor Dan requested a quick solution. The liberals could accept a minority PSD government to end the political crisis generated by the censure motion. Until the negotiations are completed, the interim Cabinet led by Ilie Bolojan continues its mandate with limited powers. The consultations at Cotroceni aim at the stability of the country, and PNL seems willing to let PSD take on the risks of a minority government.
