PSD Secretary General, Paul Stănescu, considers Romania's entry into the Schengen air and naval Schengen area a major success.

Stănescu congratulated the professionals involved in preparing the country for this moment and launched an attack on extremist parties such as AUR. He also stressed that PSD is not in a marriage with PNL, but in a "responsible political partnership", motivated by the fundamental values of democracy.
