Oana Țoiu, Romania's new Foreign Minister, is on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova, where she will meet with Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The visit comes amid tensions after Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban was banned from entering Romania for five years and threatened to sue Țoiu. Ceban contests her claims that the reasons for the ban are based on links to the Russian Federation, while Țoiu said Romania is under no obligation to explain itself.
