Nicușor Dan has sent a message to European leaders, stressing that the involvement of the US President is essential for the signing of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Following recent videoconferences, he reiterated that Russia must stop attacks on civilians to demonstrate its desire for peace. Dan said Romania would contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine, noting that the US is interested in Europe's security. He also expressed moderate pessimism about Russia's intentions to conclude peace, insisting on the need to maintain sanctions.
