Nicușor Dan will formally take office as President of Romania on Monday at 12:00 at a joint session of Parliament. The decision was taken after the Constitutional Court validated the presidential election results. The ceremony will be attended by high-ranking officials and the oath will include commitments to the Constitution and democracy. After the ceremony, Dan will go to the Cotroceni to hand over his mandate and will hold informal talks with the parties to form a new government, with the aim of appointing Ilie Bolojan as Prime Minister.
