In an interview, Nicușor Dan discussed the importance of political stability in Romania, emphasizing that it cannot be achieved without the PSD. He mentioned Ordinance 13 from 2017, which generated massive protests, but stated that the current situation is different. Dan declared that he does not believe the current governing coalition (PSD-PNL-USR-UDMR) will break apart in the near future and acknowledged that the current tensions could have been avoided.

Regarding the conflict within the coalition over magistrates' pensions, he considered that the separate meetings of PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu with the heads of justice institutions are not necessarily negative. Nicușor Dan acknowledged a "public communication struggle" between PNL and PSD, but emphasized that he prefers issues to be resolved through internal negotiations.

As for the future of the government, he expressed the desire for it to last until 2027 and stated that if the PSD proposes Sorin Grindeanu as prime minister, he would have no objections. Dan challenged the public to reflect on the alternative to the stability he promotes, emphasizing that, in the current context, a parliamentary majority is essential for important decisions.
