The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, states that drones entering Romanian territory could be shot down, but that in the case of manned aircraft, caution must be exercised.
"It is a matter of showing determination in the face of potential aggression when we talk about drones. When we talk about manned aircraft, it is more complicated. As an instinct, I prefer to be more cautious. I wouldn't want to introduce small notions of panic for the citizens of Romania. For the moment, apart from those 12 minutes in the Baltic area, there have been no recent incursions into the airspace of NATO countries. That is the normality that I am convinced will continue," explained President Nicușor Dan.
