Nicuşor Dan was received by the King of Belgium at the Castle of Laeken, after the meeting with Mark Rutte at NATO's headquarters.

President Nicușor Dan was received on Friday at the Royal Castle in Laeken by His Majesty Philippe, the King of the Belgians, during an official two-day visit to Brussels. After the official reception, the two held a tête-à-tête discussion. During the visit, Nicușor Dan had a meeting at NATO headquarters with the Secretary General of the Alliance, Mark Rutte, where they discussed international security developments, especially on the Eastern Flank and in the Black Sea region.

Additionally, the president participated in the European Council meeting, where leaders addressed issues such as the EU's economic competitiveness, support for Ukraine, and strengthening the Union's security. An important discussion also took place with the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, on geopolitical issues and the future of multilateralism.
