President Nicușor Dan addressed, during a press conference in Dubrovnik, the subject of the motion of censure submitted by PSD and AUR against the government led by Ilie Bolojan. He emphasized the importance of maintaining Romania's pro-European direction, stating that he will not allow a deviation from this trajectory.
Dan mentioned that pro-European parties do not intend to form a government with AUR, considering a coalition between these forces extremely unlikely.
He also assessed the scenario of early elections as being unlikely, emphasizing that most political crises have not ended with such elections.
In the context of the submission of the motion of censure, PSD criticized the Bolojan government for its inability to manage economic and social issues, arguing that his dismissal is necessary to allow the formation of a functional government. The motion will be read and voted on in Parliament, and PSD has assured that it has obtained the necessary support to adopt it.
