Nicușor Dan's explanations regarding the presence of the head of SPP, Lucian Pahonțu, at the table in Brussels, alongside Rareș Bogdan and Eugen Tomac

President Nicușor Dan commented regarding the photograph in which he appears, in Brussels, alongside Lucian Pahonțu and MEPs Rareș Bogdan and Eugen Tomac, that the head of SPP was part of the protection team according to the law.

Nicușor Dan explained that Pahonțu and the security team accompanied him according to the law on the protection of dignitaries.

He explained that he was to meet with the leader of the European People's Party, Manfred Weber, where Rareș Bogdan was also present, considering that he is the leader of the Romanian MEPs from the EPP.

"Of course, I was accompanied by Mr. Pahonțu and the entire security team. This is the law on the protection of dignitaries and presidents. We all sat at that terrace," added the president.
