Asked about the possibility of organizing early elections, President Nicușor Dan stated that he does not consider this a viable solution. He emphasized that the voting intention in polls is relatively close to the current representation in Parliament, which could lead to a waste of time trying to bring the same people together. According to the Constitution of Romania, early elections can only be organized if two proposals from the Executive are rejected by Parliament within 60 days of each other, and the president requests the dissolution of Parliament. This complicated procedure makes early elections a rare and difficult option to achieve.
