On the National Day of Commemoration of the Victims of the Holocaust, the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities, Silviu Vexler, reproached Nicușor Dan that the rejection of the antifascism law was interpreted as support for the legionary ideology. Dan challenged the law at the Constitutional Court, but after the rejection of the referral, he stated that he would resend it to Parliament. Vexler emphasized the negative impact of this decision on the Jewish community and democracy in Romania.
