On Monday, Nicușor Dan will have consultations with all parliamentary parties at the Cotroceni Palace, two weeks after the dismissal of the Bolojan Government through a motion of censure.
The President will ask each party about the majority they propose. The delegations will include leaders and important members from each party, including Sorin Grindeanu (PSD) and Ilie Bolojan (PNL). AUR has requested real consultations, and S.O.S. Romania, led by Diana Șoșoacă, will decide through a survey whether to participate. Nicușor Dan emphasized that he will not appoint a prime minister without a clear majority, excluding the option of a minority government with AUR. PNL and USR do not want to collaborate with PSD, while UDMR has a flexible mandate, including the option to go into opposition.
