President Nicușor Dan stated that at the debates in Cotroceni, all opinions are welcome, emphasizing the need to identify the "deficient mechanisms" in justice. He mentioned that, considering that 800-900 judges have reported problems in the system, it is essential to structure and prove these aspects. Among the frequent issues are the Judicial Inspection and the procedure for appointing court leaders. Dan emphasized the importance of political will to correct these deficiencies.
He also announced a scheduled meeting with Romanian judges on December 22, to discuss justice in detail. Currently, Dan is participating in the EU States Summit on the Eastern Flank in Finland, but remains in contact with relevant information from Romania.
