This change marks a return to the practice before 2018 and reinforces the role of the President as the guarantor of the Constitution's respect. The decision was made following its referral, which led to the declaration of the unconstitutionality of a law regarding the reorganization of certain research units. On the same day, Nicușor Dan mentioned that he received relevant materials from magistrates about issues in the judiciary and that he will analyze this information over the weekend. On Monday, he will organize consultations with magistrates, both in groups and individually, to discuss these issues. Access for journalists will be restricted to ensure the confidentiality of the participants, and the conclusions will be presented publicly at the end of the day in a press conference.
