Nicu Ștefănuță, independent MEP, stated that Nicușor Dan has demonstrated a remarkable ability to survive criticism and challenges throughout his career, especially during the early period of USR. Ștefănuță emphasized that, although many have sung his requiem, Nicușor Dan has continued to make progress and pursue his goals. He also mentioned that Dan answers the phone, but not always, which can be explained by the pressures and responsibilities he has as president. Ștefănuță added that it is normal for Dan to adhere to certain security rules in the context of his position.
