The PNL, USR, and PSD delegations will meet on Monday with the designated Prime Minister Eugen Tomac on the first day of negotiations for forming a parliamentary majority to invest the new government.
The consultations will begin with the liberals at 11:00, according to the announcement made by Ilie Bolojan. After PNL, USR will have discussions with Tomac at 14:00. Leader Dominic Fritz emphasized that the party will impose clear conditions for support. The last meeting will be with PSD, scheduled for 17:00, Sorin Grindeanu stating that the party is open to discussions.
The consultations will take place at the headquarters of each political party, and Tomac will hold press statements after each round. Additionally, he has 10 days to present the cabinet of ministers and the government program in Parliament, needing 233 votes for investment, which represents a significant challenge.
