The PSD mayor of Buzăului, Constantin Toma, has severely criticized the decision to exclude certain segments of the A7 and A8 motorways from funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, calling it a "disaster" for the local economy. Toma accused Minister Sorin Grindeanu of mismanaging the tender, pointing out that Buzău was attracting investors because of the infrastructure plans. He highlighted the negative impact of this decision on the region's economic development and demanded transparency from the authorities.
