Prime Minister Ciolacu reacted to accusations of Russia's possible meddling in the Romanian presidential elections, underlining his support for the pro-European government in Chisinau. On the other hand, PNL leader Nicolae Ciucă accused an underground deal between Marcel Ciolacu and George Simion for the second round of the presidential elections. Mircea Geoană also suggested the existence of a deal between the two candidates.
