Teodora Odobescu has been appointed state advisor within the Chancellery of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, effective from November 3, 2025, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette. She has had an active political career, previously serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government led by Marcel Ciolacu, a position she held since June 2023. Additionally, she was a presidential advisor for European affairs and ambassador, serving as Romania's Permanent Representative to the European Union. In February 2025, she was appointed presidential advisor by interim president Ilie Bolojan and continued in this role during the early months of President Nicușor Dan's term. This new appointment underscores her extensive experience in the field of foreign relations and administration.
