The former prime minister and presidential advisor Ludovic Orban discussed the corruption associated with power, stating that many people he supported became corrupt after they came to power. Orban emphasized that this risk also exists in the case of President Nicușor Dan, mentioning that power can negatively influence people's character. In a message posted on social media, Orban congratulated Ciprian Ciucu for winning the elections for the Capital City Hall, expressing his confidence in his ability to lead effectively.

Orban specified that he supported Ciucu when he did not seem like a winner, considering him the best candidate from the pro-European and liberal area. He emphasized that Ciucu will be able to immediately dedicate himself to the problems of Bucharest residents, already having experience in administration.
