Kelemen Hunor: The government could be formed at the beginning of June

The leader of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, stated that he hopes a new government will be formed in the first week of June, emphasizing the importance of finalizing formal consultations and appointing a prime minister.

He mentioned that the interim of the current Executive, led by Ilie Bolojan, should not exceed 45 days, recalling the situation in 2009 when the formation of a government took much longer. Hunor emphasized that an interim government cannot honor promises, which makes a stable governmental team necessary.

Regarding the PNL candidate for the position of prime minister, he confirmed that Ilie Bolojan is firmly supported by the party. Kelemen Hunor expressed optimism about forming a government before the deadline.
