Kelemen Hunor believes that there are chances for reconciliation between PNL and PSD to maintain the coalition.

Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, stated that he sees the possibility of a reconciliation between the PNL led by Ilie Bolojan and the PSD of Sorin Grindeanu, emphasizing that until the last moment there is hope for finding a compromise solution. Hunor mentioned that in the past, he sought solutions until the last moment to maintain the coalition, referring to the situation in 2023 when UDMR was excluded from governance. He also specified that he has not been contacted by President Nicușor Dan for discussions regarding the coalition, but expressed optimism that Dan will succeed in mediating between the parties in the current coalition to keep them united. Hunor stated that he is open to dialogue, waiting to be contacted to discuss the future of the coalition.
