In a phone call to Digi24, the Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, discussed the current situation in PNL, emphasizing that 'the red liberals can no longer be in PNL'. He stated that the party needs to break away to distance itself from those who might collaborate with PSD. Darău mentioned that if PNL does not manage to clarify its position and give up members who are not loyal, the party will face serious problems.

He also suggested that early elections could be a viable solution in case the situation does not improve, stating that 'if the waters are all divided, we go to the people'. This statement reflects the internal tensions within PNL and the need to take decisive measures to ensure the party's cohesion.
