Ionuț Stroe, PNL deputy, stated on Antena 3 CNN that contesting the decisions of the PNL Congress in court does not represent an act of sabotage, but a legitimate effort to seek justice. Stroe, a challenger of the current leadership, emphasized that access to justice is essential in a democratic society.

He criticized the PNL leadership's statement, considering it an attack on a fundamental principle, the right of every citizen to address the courts. Stroe accused the PNL leadership of confusing Bolojan's personal will with the letter of the law, stating that labeling the challengers as "coupists" suggests a denial of judicial power.

He also mentioned the unacceptable pressure on magistrates. PNL also criticized the procedure carried out by the Ilfov Tribunal, demanding respect for the right to defense, mentioning that the party's lawyers did not have access to the file. They continue to contest the decisions adopted by the Extraordinary Congress of PNL.
