The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, has launched a consultation to develop a draft law regarding the pensions of magistrates, thanking the leaders in the judiciary for their openness. His objectives are to unblock the situation in the judiciary and to form a working group with specialists to create a constitutional law. Grindeanu emphasizes the importance of constructive dialogue and invites all coalition leaders to participate actively.

The Constitutional Court recently accepted the objection of the ICCJ regarding legislative changes that limited the pensions of magistrates, and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan reaffirmed the Government's commitment to reform this system. The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, suggested progressive taxation as a solution for high pensions, while President Nicușor Dan stated that he does not consider a referendum on this subject necessary, emphasizing the general consensus on the existing anomalies in the system.
