In an intervention on Antena 3, Grindeanu acknowledged that he met with George Simion in the hallway of the hotel in Timișoara, where the PSD had a regional meeting, but emphasized that this was an "episodic matter," without further implications. He stated that social democrats have no reason to discuss with AUR and that they have not had recent contacts with this party.
