Grindeanu: I make self-criticism, I did not anticipate that Ilie Bolojan has nothing to do with the economy

The president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, launched a harsh attack against Ilie Bolojan, stating that the prime minister lacks expertise in the economic field and that his measures have led the Romanian economy down a declining path. Grindeanu acknowledged that he did not anticipate Bolojan's lack of expertise in managing the economy, emphasizing that Romania urgently needs economic recovery measures. During the County Conference of the League of Local Elected Officials in Dâmbovița, the leader of the social democrats criticized the governance based on "Excel tables" and called for a more empathetic approach, focused on the needs of citizens. Grindeanu presented three options for the PSD: maintaining the current form of governance, moving into opposition, or reconfiguring the coalition. He also mentioned that social democrats are not being heard in the governing coalition, highlighting the failure of economic recovery proposals. Grindeanu brought alarming data into discussion about the decrease in consumption and job losses in the private sector.
