Germany, the Netherlands and Poland have signed an agreement aimed at facilitating the rapid movement of troops and weapons in the run-up to a possible conflict.

The agreement comes as NATO and the EU are stepping up preparations for a possible military conflict with Russia, and too much red tape could cause major delays in troop deployments. The Dutch defense minister stressed the importance of conditions allowing for rapid military deployments before a possible conflict.
