The president of AUR, George Simion, accused Nicușor Dan on Wednesday of being at the root of the current conflict within the coalition and expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that his party was not invited to Cotroceni for consultations to overcome the political crisis.

"It is an insult to our voters. (...) Nicușor Dan. This is not a presidential attitude, it makes us think that the current disputes were triggered by Nicușor Dan."

Simion, attack on PSD and PNL

"Neither PSD nor PNL are serious. We are not convinced that PSD will submit a motion of censure, even though they led to the breaking of the coalition," said Simion, emphasizing that social democrats and liberals are arguing "over the future prime minister, positions, and privileges."

"We said: we will vote for any motion against this government." "We do not consider that PSD is a serious party that will submit a motion of censure. It seems to me that they are playing games. We are dealing with unserious parties." He reiterated that negotiations with the other parties are conditioned by 300 parliamentarians, the elimination of budget subsidies for parties, and elections in two rounds for mayors and presidents of County Councils. President Nicușor Dan started on Wednesday morning consultations with representatives of PSD, PNL, UDMR, national minorities, and USR.
