George Simion told the Chamber of Deputies plenary that Mihail Neamțu will remain as head of the Culture Committee, refusing to bow to pressure from USR, which demanded his removal after Neamțu posted a fake photo of the new Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu. Simion criticized USR and underlined that he would not change the leadership of the commission just because others want him to, while also mentioning the country's economic problems. The doctored photo was later deleted by Neamțu, but was saved by users on social networks.
