The president of AUR, George Simion, reacted vehemently after the judges of the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) failed to make a decision on the law regarding magistrates' pensions, due to the absence of the four judges proposed by PSD. Simion labeled the CCR as "the author of the coup" and criticized the Romanian state, which he considers to be "captured, rotten, and corrupt."
The president of the CCR, Simina Tănăsescu, announced that, due to lack of quorum, the decision will be postponed until January 16, emphasizing that the meetings could not continue due to the absences of the judges.
