The Prahova Court has decided the conditional release of Elena Udrea, former Minister of Tourism, who was sentenced to 6 years in prison in the Gala Bute case. Udrea served 3 years and 10 months in prison and has been in Târgșor Penitentiary since June 2022, after her extradition from Bulgaria. The court's decision is final and upholds an earlier ruling by the Ploiești District Court.
