Elena Lasconi, former candidate in the presidential elections, has broken her silence to attack Nicușor Dan, whom she considers responsible for the current crisis in Romania. During the show "Did you find out! With Ionuț Cristache," Lasconi stated that Dan could become the first suspended president of Romania, emphasizing that he should pray to finish his term.
She criticized the cancellation of the elections, considering that this act led to the loss of Romanians' trust in voting. Lasconi mentioned that a president with a majority in Parliament can have a strong voice, but that Nicușor Dan is just a "product of marketing." She also negatively commented on the proposals for prime minister, Eugen Tomac and Adrian Veștea, calling them "sham" and highlighting the negative impact of the crisis on the mayor's office. Lasconi concluded that Romania needs concrete projects and not unfounded promises.
